Roadmap

Roadmap for planned changes and additions to the wiki (mainly back-end, structure and semantics). Please add anything you think we might need, and try to keep this page updated with current progress.

Namespaces

Namespace structure

Categories

Categories are used to give the articles a semantic hierarchy. Add an article to a category with [[Category:Name]], and display it as a link in an article with [[:Category:Name]].

The top level category is Category:Categories.

As with portals in the beta, there are several top level categories. Articles relating to a specific portal should reside within their respective category, and can reside inside multiple categories, as following;

(Orange are completed, red are not yet created. If we create a tag for [[Category:Name]] in both the parent category:, and the article for now. We can merge the corresponding articles into the category: namespace.)

Substances

Before continuing any further, we need to decide once and for all if we want to use singular or plural categories. Diogenes (talk) 22:55, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Psychedelic sources should be plural (Plants, Herbs, Drugs, etc). Specific classes of drug should be singular (with redirects from plural titles). Substances should be titled as the name by which they are best known, with semantic redirects for other names or modifications to each name; DMT <= (Dimethyltryptamine, n,n-DMT, etc).
